For budgets that don't include big bucks to spend on an original 62 Strat, the AVRI '62 Reissue is just about as good as you can get.

The American Vintage Reissue Series originally debuted during the twilight of the CBS era in 1982, when the '57 and '62 Reissue models were still built at the Fullerton, CA plant. In 1985, production of the series moved to the Corona, California where it remained until Fender ceased production of this AVRI model some years ago.

The '62 Vintage Reissue model featured specifications matching the 1962 Stratocaster, including body contours, neck shape, vintage style tremolo and bridge.

This guitar is in excellent condition. It has been in a collection since new and well looked after. It has not been played except sporadically at home, and presents in as new condition. The plastic coating is still on the pick guard and rear trem cavity cover.

The neck is a nice vintage C contour, with a rich rosewood fingerboard and original frets with no wear.

Comes with its original Fender tweed hard shell case in excellent condition, along with tags and case candy including vintage Fender strap, trem arm, ashtray bridge cover & lead.
