"The Fender Custom Shop Custom Shop 1960's Journeyman Relic Telecaster Electric Guitar will please any vintage Tele fan fortunate enough to strap it on. Close inspection reveals the remarkable workmanship and relic treatment that the Fender Custom Shop is known for.

The Journeyman Tele has a lightweight ash body with a maple neck sporting a mid '60s oval C back shape. The fingerboard is maple with twenty-one 6105 frets and a 9.5" radius. Electronics feature a pair of handwound ’67 Vintage Tele pickups and modern wiring to make the most of this great combo. Vintage hardware, a bone nut and a 3-ply pickguard come together to produce a fantastic look along with this one's classic Tele tone."

Forged by the clever gentlemen of the Fender Custom Shop, this '60s Journeyman Tele is the stuff of dreams. It has been perfectly crafted and beautifully relic’d. It recalls all of the tone and mojo of those early period Telecasters without the voluminous price tag. 

This guitar is basically brand new with all the original case candy. This Fender Custom Shop ‘60s Tele combines vintage style, relic looks, and modern materials for a guitar that looks and feels as good as it sounds. This very special guitar is finished in the quite rare colour of Surf Green that's been given a subtle Journeyman Relic treatment.

There are no issues with this guitar. There are no dents, scratches, wear, etc other than its relic job done by Fender of course. It is nicely set up with a medium low action, plays great in all positions and sounds like a vintage Tele should – lots of twang & bark from the bridge pickup, sweet jangle from the middle position and a full, woody sounding neck pickup to round out all the tonal options you could want.

Comes in its original tweed hardshell case along with full spec sheet, leather strap, case candy and Certificate of Authenticity.
