Featuring its original three-tone sunburst finish, this guitar has survived nearly six decades without cracks or refinishing, retaining its classic worn-in vintage aesthetic.

The Indian rosewood fretboard remains in great shape, with four small drop fills, offering that smooth, played-in feel that only time can create. The original Fender decal is fully intact, adding to the authenticity of this well-preserved piece. This Strat has had a refret and a replaced bone nut.

Under the guard, this Strat remains largely original, with its factory single-coil pickups dated 9/21/65, delivering the chimey, articulate, and dynamic tone expected from a mid-'60s Fender. The 2nd tone pot is original, dated 6532 (Aug '65), while the volume and 1st tone pot have been replaced. A modern 3-way switch is installed but retains the original tip, allowing for classic Strat wiring configurations while preserving its vintage feel.

The body remains completely unmodified, with no additional routs, ensuring the structural integrity and resonance of a genuine 1965 Strat. The original pickguard and aluminium shielding plate are intact, along with all original hardware mounted on the body. The tuners have been upgraded to Gotoh reissues, ensuring modern reliability while maintaining vintage aesthetics. The original collets are still present, a nice touch for collectors looking for as much originality as possible.

The original two tone knobs remain, while the volume knob has been replaced, subtly blending modern functionality with its vintage roots. The guitar comes housed in a genuine Fender hardshell case, ensuring it stays well-protected.
