“The Double Cat is made from solid alder featuring large sound chambers. The body is fitted with a flat maple top featuring a Cat Eye styled F-Hole. This distinct construction of a solid but chambered alder body combined with a flat top and a one piece maple neck gives the Double Cat the special tone which musicians all around the world came to love.
The Double Cat is equipped with our proven pickup combination comprising of the classically wound Grand Vintage humbucker for the bridge and the smooth and creamy Domino P90 single coil for the neck. The middle position of both pickups features our special wiring, which splits certain low end frequencies out of the humbucker signal. This creates an open and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of sounds.
The smooth and easy to use Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola lends itself to subtle and also dramatic chord modulation.
It is known around the world for its outstanding tuning stability, solid construction and elegant looks.
Our creamy Domino P90 in the neck position and the classically voiced Grand Vintage Humbucker at the bridge form an all-around dream team many have tried to replicate.

This is a beautifully built guitar, with looks to match. Since its beginnings in the mid 80s, Duesenberg has become a brand synonymous with quality. They build fabulous looking retro style guitars that you can actually play.
And this one plays really well, with a comfortable neck and it feels strong & balanced. There’s tons of tone and the pickups are perfectly suited to the semi hollow body construction. And they are LOUD if you want them to be. But if you dial down a little all the sweet tone is retained with no tonal drop-ff. The proprietary Diamond Deluxe trem stays in tune, and offers other tonal options.
There is some light scratching & minor player wear on the back that can only be seen in a certain angle of light. There are a couple of tiny marks on the lovely sunburst top. The metalwork is all clean and untarnished. This guitar has been well looked after and presents in excellent condition.
And the lovely bright 3 colour sunburst finish present on this one was discontinued some time ago. Standard colour is now blue, and black for the 12 string.
Unfortunately the tremolo arm is missing, but can be easily procurred.
Weight is 7.8 lbs
Comes in its Duesenberg hardshell case in good condition.
