Here’s a really nice 20 year old American Tele with lots of positive appeal. Built at Fender's Corona plant in 2002, it is finished in bright Cherry Sunburst and features a fabulous full C neck with two excellent Seymour Duncan pickups.

This one just feels great when you pick it up, settles into your hands, plays effortlessly and sounds the business.

This 20 year old super player is in great condition. It is pretty much unchanged except for the pickups, which are high end Seymour Duncan units. The combination of humbucker and the Rails pickup delivers a big, bright walloping sound. Duncan Rails use a unique split-rail, twin-coil design and parallel wiring to achieve vintage single-coil tone without hum. So there’s no single coil hum or buzz in any switch position.

This is a fine looking Tele with its fab Cherry Sunburst finish set off by the white pearloid guard – looks fantastic under stage lights. Apart from one very light scratch on the back, there is pretty much no player wear showing. It is in amazing condition for a 20 year old guitar – a real closet classic.

The neck has a little more meat to it than the typical modern C-profile, and feels great in the hand, playing smooth and fast. The dark rosewood fingerboard is in beautiful condition, and the back is super clean & smooth.

Original staggered Fender tuners are working perfectly and the medium jumbo frets are in great condition and showing almost no wear.

This American Standard Tele is your genuine go-to workhorse guitar. It works well in every way for a wide variety of musical styles, and it will deliver decades more fine service.
