Martin engineered the DC-Aura GT acoustic-electric guitar with a solid Sitka spruce top, taking advantage of the wood's characteristic bright sound and responsiveness, and turned to East Indian rosewood for the back and sides to give your guitar warmth and fullness. The certified African blackwood fingerboard and hardwood neck play clean and precise, and create dense, lasting sustain.

Martin distinguishes the DC-Aura GT with small touches that truly set it apart from other acoustic guitars. The double-ring pearl rosette around the soundhole adds character and visual depth to the solid spruce top. Dots and bars have no place on the DC-Aura GT - beautiful hexagon pearl inlays gleam against the dark African blackwood. Topping off the DC-Aura GT's distinctive looks are skeleton button tuners that give your guitar a sense of refinement and airiness.

You'll only find the Fishman F1 Aura+ preamp system in Martin guitars. Using digital modeling technology, the F1 Aura+ gives you a menu of tonal presets called “Images”. These Images replicate the response of nine different high-quality microphones, giving your guitar tone a true studio-quality sound. Each Image preset is editable and programmable, and you have can blend between pickup and Image for total tone control.

The DC-Aura GT is complete with tools you need for every performance: control the EQ for the pickup and the Images separately to dial in just the right tone and the chromatic tuner automatically mutes so no one needs to listen while you tune. But to give you even more tonal options, Fishman went the extra mile and added compression for even levels and feedback elimination for hassle-free performances.

This Martin DC Aura GT was bought new by its one owner in 2019. It has been used mainly at home and shows little wear apart from some light pick marks near the guard – hard to see & just about impossible to photograph.

The frets are in good shape, truss rod is working properly and there are no cracks, splits or repairs. The guitar is structurally sound and it appears to have had no changes or modifications since new.

It has been nicely set up by experienced Sydney guitar tech Alan Rigg, which means it is playing beautifully with medium low action and no string buzz. It is a warm and balanced sounding guitar – typical Martin projection in the bottom end, and clear, articulate treble on top.

And the Fishman Aura pickup system is mighty impressive.

Comes in its original Martin hard shell case in excellent condition.
