Abe Rittenhouse, founder and builder at Rittenhouse Guitars, comes from a family heritage rich in artistic abilities. He grew up surrounded by painters, sculptors and carpenters.

Rittenhouse Guitars, Inc. was born when Abe’s experience of vintage artistry was merged with his passion for music, introducing him to the world of guitar relicing. 

What began as a part-time hobby for Abe soon became a fulltime job as guitars players all over the world sought after the acclaimed Rittenhouse Guitars. 

“This is not my job, but my passion” says Abe, who still builds each guitar with the same passion and dedication as he did at first.”

This is a very good vintage J style, offset solid body guitar. It features a fat 50's neck, vintage tall frets and aged nitro finish.

It is proudly adorned with a set of Lollar pickups so you get a sound that lives somewhere between the sparkle and chime of a Stxxx and the midrange oomph of a Les Paul. Full, warm tones in the neck position and biting lead tones at the bridge.

This JM-63 features Rittenhouse’s unique ageing process and build techniques, resulting in an instrument with the mojo of a 55 year old with road wear and broken-in feel, but with modern playability.

It was bought brand new last year, played less than 10 times, and is being offered in new (but relic’d), unchanged condition.

Comes with its hard shell case in new condition.
