Tokai ES-100N - Japan 2002
Pickup currently unavailable
Tokai has been crafting high-end, vintage-inspired instruments since the 1970s, earning a reputation for building some of the finest Gibson-style guitars outside of the USA. Their ES series pays homage to the legendary ES-335, and the ES-100N sits near the top of their lineup, featuring premium tonewoods, expert Japanese craftsmanship, and an attention to detail that rivals the best semi-hollow guitars ever made. This 2003 Tokai ES-100N, finished in a stunning natural flame maple, is a rare and beautifully built instrument that delivers incredible playability and tone.
Sonically, this ES-100N offers warm, resonant cleans, smooth overdrive, and dynamic responsiveness that make it perfect for jazz, blues, rock, and beyond. The semi-hollow maple body provides the signature airiness and sustain, while the mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard contribute to its rich warmth and smooth articulation. The humbuckers deliver vintage-voiced clarity, with round, full-bodied lows and articulate highs, allowing you to cover everything from clean jazz chords to gritty rock leads with ease.
This 2003 Tokai ES-100N is in excellent condition, with only the lightest signs of handling over the years. The flame maple top, back, and sides look stunning in their natural finish, showing off the beautiful grain patterns. It comes complete with its original hard case.
A superb Japanese-made semi-hollow, this Tokai ES-100N delivers stunning craftsmanship, vintage tone, and timeless aesthetics. A truly high-end semi-hollow that rivals the best from Gibson’s golden era - ready for stage, studio, or collection!
