The Martin 00-28VS is a vintage-style acoustic guitar that was introduced by Martin in 1994. It is based on the classic 00-size Martin guitars of the 1930s, and features a smaller body size that is comfortable to play and produces a balanced, articulate sound.

The "VS" in the name stands for "vintage series," indicating that the guitar is built with traditional materials and techniques that harken back to the golden age of acoustic guitar making. The top is made of solid Sitka spruce, and the back and sides are made of solid East Indian rosewood, which gives the guitar a warm, rich tone with excellent projection.

This Martin 00-28VS is a fine specimen, it has hardly been played and has never left the house since it’s purchase in 2014. As a result, there is not a mark on it, and for all intents, this guitar is in as new, mint condition. The only change is the new wooden Martin end pins replaced as the owner preferred the look of them. The guitar plays beautifully, with that warm, rich tone that you would expect from a high-end Martin. It is a treasure to look at and a dream to play.
