Gibson Custom Shop ES-355 – USA 2011

This is an extremely nice 2011 Gibson Custom Shop ES-355 with factory Bigsby finished in vintage Curly Maple. The quilted maple top and back is absolutely stunning - one of the better examples we here at Premier Guitars have laid eyes on.

This one has had one owner since new. It was bought by the current owner from Guitar Brothers in QLD. When it comes to Gibson semi-hollow body guitars, this thing is top of the line; the real deal. This superb guitar reflects the extra care, attention to detail, fit, finish and tone associated with Gibson Custom Shop.

There are no signs of serious play wear. It has been cared for by a meticulous owner, and has lived in its protective case between sporadic gigs. The semi-hollowbody construction with Bigsby gives you a manageable platform for exploring feedback, harmonics and overtones on stage, making the guitar feel truly alive.

The limited run Gibson ES 355 in Curly Maple with ebony fingerboard and factory Bigsby was one of Gibson's best selling Custom Shop ES models in recent history. Discontinued in early 2012 these have become highly sought after instruments. 

Gibson's VOS treatment makes this guitar look like it came right out of 1960. This is a lovely, all original and fantastic playing ES-355 from 2011.

Famous ES-355 aficionados have included Chuck Berry, BB King, Keith Richards and countless others.

Comes in its original Gibson hard shell case in excellent condition with its Certificate of Authenticity.
